With your own 'detailed requirements document' you are free to submit your
project to multiple vendors to bid for your project (RFP - Request For
Proposal). The bids you receive can then be assessed to ensure
you select the best proposal (and of course the cheapest is not always
best!).
Creating Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
Getting the project live is only the beginning. What happens next?
Our experience with IT Service Management (we are ITIL certified) means
that we can help you define any service levels that you may need. e.g. Do
you need your website to be available 24x7? How quickly do you
need their support staff to answer your queries? To fix your queries?
Do you need daily backups? In the event of a disaster, how quickly
would your standby server be operational? Do you have any critical
deadlines or tasks? When would they notify you and who would they contact?
